HOT....

Heute war der erste wirklich warme Tag hier in Brisbane. Hier in Corinda erreichten wir doch tatsächlich 29°C! Léo und ich litten beim Treffen der Mother's Group (war heute in einem Park) und entschuldigten uns schon nach weniger als 2 Stunden...
Nach ein paar kühleren Tagen ist am Wochenende wieder 27-28°C angesagt. Hoffentlich werden wir es aber ein wenig besser haben. Wir drei gehen nämlich in die Berge! Falls man das so sagen kann... Wir werden Tambourine Mountains im Gold Coast Hinterland besuchen. Hoffentlich ist es dort schön kühl!

THE mercury is rising in Brisbane this morning with the capital set to reach a maximum of 28 degrees, two degrees above the September average.

"It is a warm day, but mainly it seems warm by comparison to cooler temperatures we have had recently," Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Vikash Prasad said. The warmest Brisbane September temperature was 38.3 in 1943. More recently, 34.9 was recorded in 2003.

The summer glow won't last too long though, with cool southeasterly winds coming through Brisbane this afternoon. "A trough will come in from the south, pushing temperatures down, Mr Prasad said. "The drop in temperature will be quite noticeable.

Expect below average temperatures tomorrow and Thursday, with a warmer weekend ahead. "We will likely see temperatures of 27 and 28 over the weekend, Mr Prasad said.
